2020年の第一弾EP「Another Life」を、3月にイギリスのFreeSpirit Recordsよりリリース完了。

ー リリースおめでとうございます！これらの楽曲を通じてCYLONが伝えたいことは何ですか？
CYLON
「CYLONとしての音楽的コンセプトである ”CYLONを形成してきた血であり肉である音楽的ルーツ、ダンスミュージックとしてのブラックミュージック特有のファンキーでグルーヴィーな要素を、現在のPsychedelic Tranceに練り込み溶け込ませていく”という考えのもと色濃く生まれてきたのが今回の４曲です。…突き詰めていくと自分の内側から出てくるもの、自分自身と向き合うこと、これからもっとそれを感じて調和しながら生きていこう！というメッセージが僕自身の表現の根底にあります。」

Today’s update includes the latest release information of CYLON, a world class artist of Sunshine Family.
CYLON is a Psytrance project by Takeo Namiki. He comes from a rock and roll background where he played the lead guitar for a band. He released his first EP album in 2011. He has played on the main stage of mammoth festivals like Boom, Rezonance and Ozora.
The first EP “Another Life” was released on UK FreeSpirit Records in March 2020. The second one will be released by IONO MUSIC of Germany as EP with 2 songs on May 8th. The title is ‘Living With Yourself’. (Please check out the link below to listen.) I was able to check out this soon to be released track….WOW! You MUST check it our yourself!

– Congratulations for the new releases ? What does CYLON want to convey through the music?
CYLON「The music concept of CYLON, “to blend the elements of black / dance music, incorporating the funky and groovy beat to the electronic music scene”, is very prevalent in all four tracks. I want the audience to understand who they are, realize the energy they are emitting, and to find the balance to live harmoniously with other beautiful souls around them. 」
